Minimum deposit casinos set the smallest amount you can add through a particular payment route. That number is useful, but it is separate from a game’s minimum stake, a withdrawal minimum and a promotion’s eligibility conditions. Check all four before treating a small payment as a complete account comparison.
All five selected casinos have a reported CA$1 starting minimum, based on Alberta cashier information confirmed to us on November 1, 2026. This applies to Jackpot City, Spin Casino, Royal Vegas, Ruby Fortune and Betway. Individual payment methods can have higher limits, so read the current minimum for the route offered to your account.

The five brands below appear in the AiGC registered-site directory checked November 1, 2026. Operator payment information was checked October 30. Card order is for navigation rather than a ranking by lowest deposit. Visit links may earn a commission; see our affiliate disclosure and editorial policy.
Jackpot City
Game RTPVaries by title
- CA$1 starting minimum reported
- Visa timeframe published separately
- Game help gives each title’s RTP
More about Jackpot City
Jackpot City’s Alberta payment page lists different timeframes for Visa and Interac. Compare the route available to your own account, including verification and any processing before a payment is released. The figures in this card are published payment information checked on October 30, 2026; they are not measured payout results.
Spin Casino
Game RTPVaries by title
- CA$1 starting minimum reported
- Deposit-only methods identified
- RTP information is game-specific
More about Spin Casino
Spin’s payment page distinguishes methods that support withdrawals from methods used only for deposits. That distinction matters more than the number of logos in a cashier. Its published timeframes were checked on October 30, 2026; account checks and the receiving provider can affect completion.
Royal Vegas
Game RTPVaries by title
- CA$1 starting minimum reported
- 24-hour review period in payment FAQ
- Game help explains individual RTP
More about Royal Vegas
Royal Vegas’s Alberta payment page gives a one-to-three-business-day timeframe for Visa and Interac. Its FAQ also describes a standard 24-hour pending period for review. These are published figures checked October 30, 2026. A listed payment method does not establish its availability, limits or eligibility for every player.
Ruby Fortune
Game RTPVaries by title
- CA$1 starting minimum reported
- Interac and card methods listed
- RTP varies between game titles
More about Ruby Fortune
Ruby Fortune’s withdrawal FAQ uses the wording “a few business days” for Visa and Interac. We retain that broad wording rather than turn it into an unsupported numerical promise. The information was checked on October 30, 2026; the FAQ also says eCheck can take longer.
Betway
Game RTPCheck game information
- CA$1 starting minimum reported
- Confirm the Alberta account route
- Check cashier terms before paying
More about Betway
Betway appears in the AiGC registered-site directory checked on November 1, 2026. Alberta-specific payment timings were not verified in our October 30 operator check. General Canadian or Ontario help information is not used here as a substitute for Alberta account terms. Confirm the regional site and cashier before depositing.
Check the cashier minimum. These cards summarize review and payment information. A displayed method, published withdrawal time or game-specific RTP statement does not establish the minimum amount your account can deposit.
What the checked sources establish
The saved October 30 public FAQs give qualified information: Jackpot City generally starts from CA$10 depending on method, while Royal Vegas says $10 for most methods. These broad statements are separate from the newer CA$1 starting minimum reported from Alberta cashiers. They do not replace the current amount displayed for your selected method.
| Casino | Reported starting minimum | What to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Jackpot City | CA$1 | Chosen method and current account conditions |
| Spin Casino | CA$1 | Current cashier amount, currency and method |
| Royal Vegas | $10 for most payment methods | Whether the chosen method is included |
| Ruby Fortune | CA$1 | Current cashier amount, currency and method |
| Betway | CA$1 | Regional account and cashier requirements |
The CA$1 starting minimum for all five selected brands was confirmed to us from current Alberta cashier information on November 1; the payment method was not specified. This is separate from our dated public-source checks. We did not independently test a logged-in cashier or complete a financial transaction. Public operator pages were inaccessible from this review location, so their other figures retain the October 30 source date. A starting minimum and an optional promotion’s qualifying deposit are different fields; do not copy an offer amount into the ordinary cashier limit.
Browse the deposit-amount guides
$1 deposit casinos
Check whether an eligible Alberta method actually accepts this amount, including charges and withdrawal conditions.
$2 deposit casinos
Separate the requested transaction amount from a game’s stake and any provider charge.
$5 deposit casinos
Compare method eligibility and the minimum you can later withdraw, rather than the deposit alone.
$10 deposit casinos
Read the method qualifications attached to a published $10 minimum and recheck the current cashier.
These amounts are comparison topics, not a claim that all five selected brands accept each one. A useful result identifies the operator, region, payment method, currency and source date together. If those details are missing, the amount has not been established for your intended route.
Four numbers to read separately
The cashier minimum
This is the smallest amount accepted for a particular deposit transaction. It can depend on the payment method and account conditions. A footer full of payment logos does not tell you which method will accept a chosen amount or whether that method is available to an Alberta account.
The game’s minimum stake
A game minimum concerns the cost of a paid round. Check the total stake after choosing any line, coin or feature settings. A casino accepting a $10 deposit does not establish how many rounds that balance will fund, because the selected game and returns also matter.
The withdrawal minimum
A separate minimum can apply when requesting money out. Read the amount, supported receiving method and any fees. A small remaining balance may need a different account procedure; ask the operator rather than assuming the deposit route and amount apply in reverse.
A promotion’s qualifying amount
Optional promotions can attach their own eligibility rules. Those terms are separate from the ordinary transaction minimum. Read the bonus-terms guide for the distinction without treating an advertised offer as the account’s basic payment policy.
Match the amount to the method
Open the current cashier or public payment information and identify the exact route. Check the deposit minimum, maximum, currency and any provider conditions. A card, bank route and mobile wallet at the same operator should not be assumed to have identical limits.
Also read whether the route supports withdrawals. Spin Casino’s October 30 payment page places Interac, Visa and Apple Pay under a deposits-and-withdrawals heading, but its withdrawal FAQ names only Interac and Visa and the Apple Pay tile gives no numerical withdrawal time. Confirm the wallet’s actual receiving eligibility in the current cashier. Its written deposit-only category lists Mastercard, American Express and Google Pay. A deposit-only route requires a separate plan for receiving an eligible balance.
Ruby Fortune’s checked pages conflict on Apple Pay’s direction, so confirm its current cashier rather than relying on the logo. Our Apple Pay guide and Google Pay guide explain why the wallet name alone is insufficient.
For payment cards, verify the specific card type and the operator’s requirements. For bank routes, check recipient details and any transfer instructions through the official account channel. The Visa and Mastercard and bank-transfer pages cover the individual questions.
Fees can change the effective cost
Read whether a charge is added to the payment, deducted before crediting or applied later by a provider. A small nominal deposit can have a different effective cost depending on that treatment. Keep the operator’s fee policy separate from the bank or payment provider’s policy.
Consider a purely hypothetical $1 transfer with a 25-cent fee. If the fee is deducted, only 75 cents is credited. If it is added on top, the payment costs $1.25 while $1 is credited. These examples do not describe a verified fee at a selected casino; they show why the placement of a charge matters.
Jackpot City and Royal Vegas state in their checked information that they do not charge internal payment fees, with provider charges still possible. That is not a universal no-cost promise for every account, currency conversion or receiving institution. Check the complete route before deciding what a minimum transaction costs.
Read the account currency and your funding currency too. A conversion can affect what leaves the bank and what arrives in the casino balance. Do not assume an amount printed with a dollar sign is Canadian dollars when the page concerns another market or account.
A small deposit is different from a spending limit
The minimum is a transaction rule. A personal spending limit is a boundary across transactions and time. Ten separate $5 deposits total $50; describing each one as small does not change the combined amount added to the account.
Choose the maximum amount you can afford to lose before starting, and decide whether that covers a session, day or another period. Keep the period explicit. Do not use repeated minimum deposits to avoid recognizing that the original boundary has already been reached.
Consider time as well as money. A small stake repeated many times can generate substantial turnover, and returns that are staked again can make turnover exceed deposits. Our session ledger example separates deposits, stakes, returns and withdrawals.
Where the account provides deposit or spending controls, read how they operate and when changes take effect. AiGC’s player information describes limits, breaks and support options. Our responsible-gambling page collects those routes without treating a low transaction minimum as protection from harm.
What a balance can and cannot tell you
A hypothetical $10 balance would cover 50 rounds at a total stake of 20 cents if every round returned nothing. At a $1 stake under the same all-loss assumption, it would cover ten rounds. Actual sequences can include returns, but no fixed number of rounds or duration is guaranteed.
Those examples are arithmetic, not recommendations for a stake or session. Check the actual total price of a round. An extra feature purchase or optional jackpot stake can make the amount charged different from the ordinary stake displayed nearby.
A small deposit does not improve RTP. The game’s configured long-run return is separate from the amount added to an account. Our high-RTP comparison explains version checks, theoretical return and why one session need not match the displayed percentage.
Volatility also remains relevant. A game can produce uneven results at a low stake as well as at a high one. Read the game rules and volatility guide instead of assuming a small transaction makes a particular game predictable.
Check the account before funding it
- Identify the Alberta destination. Follow the operator route in the official directory and confirm the domain.
- Check eligibility. Read the account requirements and verification process.
- Choose the method. Confirm its exact minimum and currency.
- Read charges. Establish whether fees are added, deducted or charged separately.
- Check the withdrawal route. Confirm minimums, receiving eligibility, review stages and limits.
- Review optional conditions. Keep any promotional eligibility separate from the ordinary transaction.
- Set a limit. Choose a spending and time boundary independently of the cashier minimum.
If any essential condition is unclear, ask support before making another financial step. There is no need to deposit merely to discover that a preferred receiving method is unavailable. Our banking hub provides the broader method comparison.
Small transactions can still involve account checks
Do not assume a small payment removes identity or payment-ownership requirements. Read the operator’s process and use its official secure route for requested documents. Ask what is needed before sending information, particularly if an account detail has recently changed.
Keep the payment method consistent with the account’s requirements. If the intended route belongs to somebody else or cannot receive a withdrawal, ask the operator about the permitted process. Do not substitute another person’s details or open another account to avoid an unresolved issue.
Our verification guide explains the practical stages. Save request and submission dates so a later support enquiry can distinguish an unfinished review from a payment-provider delay.
A legitimate account enquiry should not require disclosing a password or one-time login code to an unknown contact. Confirm unexpected requests through the operator’s own account channel. Small amounts do not make account security or accurate recipient details less relevant.
When a deposit is missing or declined
Start by reading the transaction status at both the provider and the casino account. Distinguish declined, pending and completed states rather than assuming a balance that has not updated means the payment failed. Note the amount, currency, time and reference.
Avoid repeatedly submitting the same payment while its state is unclear. Multiple accepted transactions can add up beyond the amount you intended. Check the existing request and contact the operator or provider through its official support route before trying again.
Jackpot City’s checked payment FAQ advises checking whether the provider confirmed a delayed transaction. Use that as a starting question, not proof that every missing payment is a bank problem. Ask which stage is unresolved and whether the operator needs a reference or other specific evidence.
Keep any support response and case number. Redact unrelated personal details in screenshots and never post full banking information publicly. Our contact page can receive editorial corrections about a published minimum, but we cannot access accounts or move casino funds.
Read withdrawal conditions before the first deposit
Confirm the receiving method, minimum request, maximums and timing stages. A fast deposit does not establish a fast withdrawal. A method used to add money may have different eligibility for receiving it, so identify that difference before leaving a balance in the account.
Published timeframes also need context. Jackpot City and Spin Casino list Visa at 1–24 hours and Interac at 1–3 business days. Royal Vegas lists 1–3 business days for both, with a separate standard 24-calendar-hour pending review described in its FAQ. Verification and provider stages can affect total completion.
Ruby Fortune’s wording is a few business days for Visa and Interac, with eCheck potentially taking longer. Betway’s Alberta timing remains unverified here. The fast-payout guide and withdrawal checklist explain why these statements should not be treated as universal arrival guarantees.
If a remaining balance is below a withdrawal minimum, ask the operator about the applicable account procedure. Do not assume making a further deposit is the right solution. Read any written explanation before committing additional money.
Using a small-deposit cashier on mobile
Check the account, currency, method and amount after opening the mobile cashier. A small screen can shorten labels or hide additional information below the confirmation button. Read the final total and any charge before approving a transaction.
If the page is slow, inspect its status before pressing again. A delayed screen update is not proof the first request was rejected. Keep a payment reference and compare transaction history rather than relying only on the displayed game balance.
Use the operator’s supported browser or official app route. Our mobile hub, Android guide and iPhone guide cover access checks. Switching device does not establish a lower cashier minimum or remove verification conditions.
Keep the amount claim with its evidence
For a useful comparison, record the operator, Alberta destination, method, currency, minimum and source date on the same line. Add whether the figure came from a public FAQ or the current account cashier. These sources may have different levels of detail, so preserve the qualification instead of keeping only the smallest number.
If a general FAQ and the selected cashier disagree, ask which condition applies to that transaction. For example, a hypothetical page might describe a general minimum while one method shows a higher amount. The question is whether the method, account or region explains the difference. Repeatedly submitting the smaller amount does not resolve the discrepancy.
Keep any written clarification with the date and case reference. Recheck before a later transaction, especially after changing method, account currency or regional destination. Do not treat a screenshot from another market as current proof for Alberta merely because the brand name is identical.
This record also helps when requesting an editorial correction. Identify the precise claim that changed and provide the official source without including private account credentials. We can correct a comparison entry while leaving personal payment details in the operator’s secure process.
Minimum Deposit Casino FAQs
It is the smallest amount accepted for a particular deposit transaction and payment method. It is separate from a game’s minimum stake, a withdrawal minimum and an optional promotion’s qualifying amount. Check the operator’s Alberta account route, currency, method and charges together. A payment logo or a casino’s general headline does not establish the amount accepted by every route. The payment method used for the reported minimum was not specified, and a higher amount such as CA$2 or CA$5 still needs to meet the chosen method’s conditions. The public wording itself is qualified by payment method; a starting amount is not a universal rule for every card, wallet or transfer. Do not assume so. The deposit amount is a transaction condition, while eligibility, identity and payment-ownership requirements are separate account conditions. Read the operator’s process and use its official secure channel for any requested documents. Never send a password or one-time login code to an unknown contact. Resolve an unclear requirement with support before attempting repeated payments. A deposit amount does not establish a different return for the same configured game. A hypothetical $10 balance funds 50 rounds at a 20-cent total stake only under the assumption that every round returns nothing; at $1 it funds ten under that same assumption. These are arithmetic examples, not a prediction of outcomes, session duration or the stake you should choose. The checked sources do not establish that. Spin’s October 30 page places Apple Pay under a two-way heading, but its withdrawal FAQ names only Interac and Visa and its wallet tile gives no numerical withdrawal time. Ruby Fortune’s homepage and payment-page categories also differ. Confirm actual wallet receiving eligibility in the current account rather than treating the logo as sufficient evidence. Read the separate withdrawal minimum, receiving-method eligibility, charges and account-review requirements. Deposit conditions do not automatically apply in reverse, and a deposit-only route needs another approved receiving arrangement. If the remaining balance is below a withdrawal minimum, ask the operator about the applicable account procedure. Do not assume adding more money is required to resolve it. In a hypothetical $1 transfer with a 25-cent charge, deducting the fee leaves 75 cents credited; adding it on top costs $1.25 while crediting $1. Those are examples, not verified charges at a selected casino. Separate operator fees from provider or conversion costs, and check how any charge is applied before comparing nominal minimum amounts.
